A projected 30% of US households overall will bank using their mobile phones in 2010.
Although some banks will feature a full suite of services like bill payment and funds transfers, others will just offer basic services like balance inquiries.
The way that customers use their phones to bank will vary by financial services provider. Some will use SMS, while others will use a downloadable product or mobile browser.
Celent said it expected most of the top 50 banks to launch some kind of mobile service in 2008.
